The Extreme measures against the Extremists

Oh, when your powers are dimming...that's when it seems like a great time for martial law.

President General Musharraf of Pakistan declared a "state of emergency" due to "extremism."

This martial law included the usual parade of troops and officers in the street...but also included

blacking out all independent television news reports and suspending the

constitution.

Good thing he did that,

because I'm sure the "extremists" won't be able to bother Pakistan anymore, with all that independent television and the constitution gone.
